Planteray Rum is the fruit of a passion for exploring the world.  Maison Ferrand's founder, Alexandre Gabriel, traveled the world in the 1990s.  In 1997, he founded Planteray Rum after procuring and blending some of the best rums from all around the world.  By 2012, passion transformed into success as the brand began winning awards from the rum community, including Distiller of the Year from the American Distilling Institute.

Planteray 3 Start is a blend of Barbadian, Jamaican, and Tinidadian pot and column still rums.  It's balance and subtlety makes it a fantastic cocktail rum for both rum-forward and complex rum drinks.
